Ever get up close to a Great Horned Owl? Be within wing's reach of a falcon? You can with the birds of prey of Raptor's Ridge. They're here with their dedicated handlers from spring through summer.

Fun Facts

The Hushed Hunter

When a Great Horned Owl spreads its wings, the span can reach up to 1.5 metres (5 feet). These night hunters have soft-edged feathers that allow them to swoop in on their prey without a whisper.

Fast Food

At full speed, a Lanner falcon can reach up to 144 kilometres per hour (90 MPH) as it goes after prey.

Dinner is Heard

The feathers on barn owls trap sound, helping them listen in on their nocturnal prey with deadly accuracy.

Captivating Birds of Prey

Raptors Ridge is an educational team of handlers dedicated to teaching guests about raptors—birds of prey such as owls, hawks, and falcons—and supporting wildlife conservation. Every evening, the birds that visit the park return to Raptors Ridge, while new birds arrive the next day. When not in the park, the birds enjoy a spacious, free-flight environment. This a great opportunity for families, wildlife enthusiasts, photographers, and anyone interested in learning about raptors and conservation.


Raptors Ridge is included in the price of admission or Annual Pass.
