Media Visits
We welcome visits by media representatives on assignment, as well as social media influencers and are glad to provide assistance to make your job easier. In order to qualify for complimentary admission, we ask that you contact us at least two weeks prior to your intended visit with the following information:
- Valid media accreditation
- Your key target markets including your audience demographics
- Samples of your past work
- Requested date of visit, intended storyline and expected result from your visit to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park
Due to the large volume of media visit inquiries, we are unable to accommodate last-minute, in-person media pass requests. We are also unable to provide complimentary tickets to media on vacation who are not intending to write about their visit with us. Media passes are limited during our peak periods, as our guest experience is very important to us.
Drones
For safety reasons, recreational drone use by any guest or member of the public, for any reason, is not permitted on or over any area of our property. Likewise, commercial use is also prohibited on Capilano Suspension Bridge Park property, except in limited circumstances. Please contact us for more details.

November 3, 2025 – Canyon Lights Sparkles Brighter With a New 3D Wildlife Projection
One of Vancouver’s most beloved holiday traditions is back – and it’s brighter, bolder and more magical than ever. From November 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026, Canyon Lights returns to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, transforming the iconic suspension bridge and Park into a sparkling holiday wonderland filled with millions of twinkling lights, festive treats and family fun.
This season, guests can discover something entirely new: Wildlight, a mesmerizing 3D wildlife projection set deep within the rainforest. West Coast forest creatures such as the black bear, coyote and Great Horned Owl come to life in stunning detail across the natural landscape. This captivating blend of technology and nature adds a breathtaking new layer of magic to the Park’s beloved holiday transformation, alongside glowing favourites like Treetops Adventure and Cliffwalk.
Returning favourites + new highlights at Canyon Lights:
Holiday magic on the bridge: Feel the wonder from every angle as you cross the world-famous suspension bridge, glowing above the canyon in a dazzling display of lights.
Festive North Pole Photo Spot: Step into a holiday postcard at The Trading Post, transformed into a magical North Pole scene. Capture a picture-perfect family photo with Santa’s sleigh and reindeer, meet the polar expedition bear and enjoy live entertainment beneath the glowing Northern Lights.
Winter Rainforest Explorers: Join Dr. Woods, Ranger Racoon, Scout Squirrel, Ollie Otter and Echo Eagle for a whimsical holiday market in the rainforest. Kids can pick up a festive ornament at the Treehouse at Treetops Adventure, then explore the Park to collect stickers of rainforest explorer characters to complete their special keepsake.
Eat, Drink & Be Merry: Take a tasty break at The Cliff House Restaurant & Bar with holiday delights like the Merry Margarita, Mulled Wine and Traditional Eggnog. Savour seasonal dishes such as Braised Beef Short Rib or Lois Lake Steelhead Crudo and finish with a Crispy Fried Chocolate Lava Cake.

How to have the best Canyon Lights experience:
Check the Park Hours: The Park will be open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with guests welcomed to stay up to an hour after closing. The Park will be closed on December 25th.
Pre-book your Tickets: Tickets are on-sale now at capbridge.com. Availability is limited during peak event times and visits are scheduled in 30-minute arrival windows. Annual Pass holders are also encouraged to reserve early, as time slots fill quickly.
Canyon Lights proudly continues its support of the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund, with partial proceeds from admissions helping fund fire and burn education programs in schools across British Columbia, as well as Burn Camp. The District of North Vancouver Fire Charity will once again be onsite, collecting donations on behalf of the Burn Fund. To date, Canyon Lights has donated over $550,000 to this important cause. Additionally, admissions help Capilano continue to host its annual Charity Nights, providing complimentary passes to local charities and community organizations.

Boo! Ghostly friends, glowing lights, and spooky forest creatures are creeping back into Capilano Suspension Bridge Park for Canyon Frights, running from October 10 to November 2, 2025. The iconic Park will once again transform into a haunted woodland playground, filled with playful scares, eerie ambiance, and limited-time sips and bites.
This year’s theme invites guests deep into a frightful forest, where graveyards, pumpkins and glowing mycelium set the stage for a chilling adventure.
Keep an eye out for watchful owls perched at Treetops Adventure, glowing mushrooms sprouting along the pond pathways, and creepy crawlies lurking where you least expect them. Popular skeletal scenes return, joined by haunting new surprises woven into the darkened trails. And as for the giant spiders… don’t say we didn’t warn you!
A few spooktacular things to expect at Canyon Frights:
Eerie Glow: The iconic bridge, the river and the surrounding forest will light up to set the mood for Halloween.
Spook-tacular activities and games: Take a break from the ghoulish adventure with family-friendly Halloween fun throughout the Park. Become a bat expert at Critter’s Hollow, embark on the Creepy Canyon Quest Scavenger Hunt and join in a variety of festive games designed to delight little goblins and ghouls of all ages.
Live entertainment: From spooky sing-alongs to eerie instrumentals, get ready to dance, howl, and cackle to the sounds of the season with live entertainment every night at the Loggers’ Grill Plaza from 3:30 pm – 7:30 pm (every hour).
Frightful Bites & Creepy Concoctions: Feeling a little peckish? Sink your fangs into limited-time Halloween snacks and sip on spooky seasonal beverages at The Cliff House Restaurant & Bar featuring a Peek-A-Boo Tini, Mad Pumpkin Spritz, Black Magic Hummus and Witches Hair Pasta.

Park Hours: The Park will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with guests welcome to stay for up to an hour after closing. If you’re visiting on October 17 – 19, October 24 – 26 or October 31 – November 2, enjoy an extra hour of fun from 10:00 a.m. to 9 p.m., offering even more time to explore and enjoy!

Calling all Swifties! As Taylor makes her final stop in Vancouver, Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is celebrating by transforming into a Taylor-inspired wonderland from December 5th to 9th. To welcome the global popstar, the Park’s iconic 450 feet long suspension bridge will be reimagined into a giant friendship bracelet with the letters FEARLESS hanging from the bridge.
Set against the iconic annual Canyon Lights event, the entire park will turn into Taylor’s Version for a limited time – so gather your besties and get ready for an Enchanted evening under the lights.
Canyon Lights (Taylor’s Version) ‘Setlist’:Giant Friendship Bracelet Bridge: The star of our show, the iconic suspension bridge, will transform into a giant friendship bracelet, making it the perfect spot for your Fearless photo op over the canyon.
Live music: Stop by the Loggers’ Grill entertainment stage to catch a Taylor Swift tribute singer performing hits from her eras daily during this special event.
Taytops Adventure: Hop over the bridge to venture onto Taytops Adventure (Treetops Adventure) and explore the elevated views of the iconic PNW rainforest.

Canyon Lights continues its support of the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund with partial proceeds from admissions donated to support fire and burn education in schools throughout British Columbia, as well as Burn Camp. The District of North Vancouver Fire Fighters Charitable Society will be onsite again this year to help collect donations from the public, on behalf of the Burn Fund. To date, Canyon Lights has donated over $510,000 to this worthy cause. Additionally, admissions help Capilano continue to host the Twelve Nights of Christmas, offering passes to local charities.
