A Spook-tacular Time

Looking for Halloween activities in Vancouver that the whole family can enjoy? Look no further! Take a thrilling journey through Capilano Suspension Bridge Park’s Canyon Frights, a family-friendly Halloween event filled with spooky lights, playful scares, and eerie ambiance. The iconic Park transforms into a haunted woodland playground, complete with limited-time sips and bites for a memorable Halloween experience.

Step deep into a frightful forest, where graveyards, pumpkins and glowing mycelium set the stage for a chilling adventure. 

Keep an eye out for watchful owls perched at Treetops Adventure, glowing mushrooms sprouting along the pond pathways, and creepy crawlies lurking where you least expect them. Popular skeletal scenes return, joined by haunting new surprises woven into the darkened trails. And as for the giant spiders… don’t say we didn’t warn you!

Canyon Frights is included in the price of admission or Annual Pass.

Park Hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Guests can stay in the Park an hour past closing time.

Passholder Reservations
Availability is limited during peak event times, and visits are scheduled in 30-minute arrival windows. Important: There are only a limited number of Annual Pass reservations available per hour during peak times. BC Annual Passholders must reserve their time online before visiting. Book early to avoid missing out!

What to See

Eerie Glow: The iconic bridge, the river and the surrounding forest will light up to set the mood for Halloween.

Spook-tacular activities and games: Take a break from the ghoulish adventure with family-friendly Halloween fun throughout the Park. Become a bat expert at Critter’s Hollow, embark on the Creepy Canyon Quest Scavenger Hunt and join in a variety of festive games designed to delight little goblins and ghouls of all ages. 

Live entertainment: From spooky sing-alongs to eerie instrumentals, get ready to dance, howl, and cackle to the sounds of the season with live entertainment every night at the Loggers’ Grill Plaza from 3:30 pm – 7:30 pm (every hour).

Frightful Bites & Creepy Concoctions: Feeling a little peckish? Sink your fangs into limited-time Halloween snacks and sip on spooky seasonal beverages at The Cliff House Restaurant & Bar featuring a Peek-A-Boo Tini, Mad Pumpkin Spritz, Black Magic Hummus and Witches Hair Pasta.

Costume Guidelines for Event Attendees:

To ensure a safe and fun experience for all guests, please follow these costume rules:
Costumes must be child-friendly and non-offensive
Costumes may not be obstructive or violent
Masks are not permitted
No sharp or pointed objects that could accidentally strike another guest
No weapons or items that could be mistaken for real weapons
Guests who do not adhere to these guidelines may be refused entry unless their costume can be modified to meet the above standards.
