The Cliff House Restaurant

Enjoy our West Coast classics with a captivating view.

Overlooking the Capilano Canyon, suspension bridge and West Coast rainforest, the Cliff House Restaurant offers a casual West Coast inspired menu during Capilano Suspension Bridge Park’s regular operating hours.

Our culinary team works to create locally inspired meals focusing on fresh ingredients, Ocean Wise seafood product and pouring regional craft beers and BC wines on tap.

    1 – 8:30pm daily

    By order of the Provincial Health Officer, proof of vaccination is required to access licensed restaurants and restaurants that offer table service (indoor and patio dining). The requirement is in place until January 31, 2022 and could be extended. For further information on the new regulations and details on vaccination I.D. CLICK HERE.  

    Seating offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
    Maximum group size of 6 guests per table.

    As always and now more than ever during this COVID-19 pandemic, the safety of our guests and team members is our #1 priority. We have taken steps to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 transmission, and to ensure the highest level of safety in the preparation and deliver of our food to you.

    Proof of Vaccination along with one piece of Government issued ID is required to dine at The Cliff House Restaurant. 

    Masks are mandatory in The Cliff House Restaurant unless seated.

    Between seatings, tables and chairs are wiped down and sanitized.

  • Reinventing an Original 

    The Cliff House Restaurant pays homage to the original Cliff House that was built just a few feet away on the edge of Capilano Canyon in 1889. The first residence in Upper Capilano, it was built by George Grant Mackay, who also built the original Capilano Suspension Bridge. Celebrating our unique history the interior is adorned with antiques and photos that highlight the park’s historical past.

Proof of vaccination is not required to enter the Park, however is required to dine in at the Cliff House Restaurant. Face masks are mandatory to ride the Free Shuttle, to cross all three main attractions, in all queuing areas, to enter all indoor spaces, and are strongly encouraged throughout the rest of the Park.
