Gandoll, The Great Gray Owl Lands at Raptors Ridge for the Summer

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is very excited to welcome back Raptors Ridge Birds of Prey for the 2021 summer season!

This year, they are bringing in a new friend hoo will be perched at their enclosures to greet guest this summer– Meet Gandoll, the Great Gray Owl!

Born in captivity in Quebec, and raised in BC, this very elusive owl in nature is famous for their velvety soft gray feathers, dinner plate sized face and bright yellow eyes, and is a beautiful new addition to the Raptors Ridge experience.

Gandoll, along with other local favourite birds of prey, will be at Raptors Ridge, weekends only, from May 1st to June 13th and every day in the Park 11:00am-6:00pm from June 19th to September 6th.

Proof of vaccination is not required to enter the Park, however is required to dine in at the Cliff House Restaurant. Face masks are mandatory to ride the Free Shuttle, to cross all three main attractions, in all queuing areas, to enter all indoor spaces, and are strongly encouraged throughout the rest of the Park.
