Canyon Lights Returns!
Canyon Lights will shine brighter than ever this year for it’s big return on Saturday, November 20th, 2021, and runs until Sunday, January 23rd, 2022 (closed December 25th).
New this season – the world-famous bridge will be lit, end to end, with a multi-colour changing display, adding to the magic of crossing the canyon above the illuminated Capilano River. Journey into the rainforest and walk high above the forest floor between the eight tallest Christmas trees in the world on Treetops Adventure. The mesmerizing “Arc de Lumina” light tunnel will once again wrap its way along a portion of Cliffwalk. Perfect Instagram moments galore! Enjoy live festive tunes and explore the Park in search of lit snowy owls in the popular Snowy Owl Prowl scavenger hunt to win a grand prize Canadian Rockies trip.
Tickets must be purchased in advance online and will go on sale beginning 10am, Thursday, November 4 on capbridge.com, with a limited quantity of tickets available. Visits are scheduled in 30-minute arrival increments. BC Annual Pass holders will also be required to reserve their time online prior to their visit. Book early to avoid missing out!
Give back with Canyon Lights
Partial proceeds from admissions will be donated to the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund for fire and burn education in schools throughout British Columbia. To date, Canyon Lights has donated over $381,000 to this worthy program. Admissions also help Capilano continue to host the Twelve Nights of Christmas, offering passes to local charities.
Bridging you safely back to nature
Proof of vaccination is not required to enter the Park at this stage but is required along with one piece of Government-issued ID to sit and dine at The Cliff House Restaurant. Face masks continue to be appreciated throughout the Park, but are mandatory to ride the free shuttle, to cross all three main attractions and to enter all indoor spaces.
