Fun Fact:
Many rhododendrons imported from the Orient in 1910 by third bridge owner, Edward Mahon, still bloom in and around Capilano Suspension Bridge. Edward was also a Founding Father of the City of North Vancouver.

Vancouver International Jazz Festival

For two weekends in June the Pioneer Garden grooves to the cool sounds of jazz. As a free venue for the Vancouver International Jazz Festival, Capilano Suspension Bridge offers the most stunning backdrop of any venue! Concerts are from 7pm to 9pm.
