Capilano Suspension Bridge | Harvest Festival

Fun Fact:
Many rhododendrons imported from the Orient in 1910 by third bridge owner, Edward Mahon, still bloom in and around Capilano Suspension Bridge. Edward was also a Founding Father of the City of North Vancouver.

Harvest Festival

Capilano Suspension Bridge celebrates the Harvest Festival in October. The park is decorated with a Harvest theme and offers musical entertainment. Enjoy special activities for the whole family both Thanksgiving Weekend (October 10, 11 & 12) and Halloween (October 31).

On Thanksgiving Weekend (October 10, 11 & 12, 2009) enjoy the Rainforest Explorers Program, temporary tattoos, musical entertainment and kids crafts.

On Halloween (October 31) enjoy a grand Jack-o-lantern display, along with fortune telling, temporary tattoos, kids crafts, musical entertainment and trick-or-treating if you show up in your costume!
