Capilano Suspension Bridge | Harvest Festival

Fun Fact:
Many rhododendrons imported from the Orient in 1910 by third bridge owner, Edward Mahon, still bloom in and around Capilano Suspension Bridge. Edward was also a Founding Father of the City of North Vancouver.

Harvest Festival

Capilano Suspension Bridge celebrates the Harvest Festival in October. The park is decorated with a Harvest theme and offers musical entertainment. Both Thanksgiving Weekend (October 10, 11 & 12) and Halloween Weekend (October 24 & 25) are packed with special activities for the whole family.

On Thanksgiving Weekend (October 10, 11 & 12, 2009) enjoy games, the Rainforest Explorers Program, wildlife series, temporary tattoos, musical entertainment and kids crafts.

On Halloween Weekend (October 24 & 25) enjoy a grand Jack-o-lantern display, along with fortune telling, temporary tattoos, kids crafts, musical entertainment, wildlife series, tours with ghost stories and trick-or-treating!
