Fun Fact: The park's seven-acre West Coast Rainforest lost 82 trees during Hurricane
Freda in 1962, eight of which fell on the bridge itself. One of the
strongest survivors is now affectionately known as Big Doug - standing over
200 feet tall at the ripe old age of 350.
